The role of Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Chief Operating Officer has overall responsibility for the areas of Finance, Information Technology, Sustainability, Business Development (spin offs, licenses, intellectual property, the science park), Capital Development and Management of Major Projects, Internal Audit, Investment Strategy and Facilities.
The role of Registrar of the University covers Admissions, Enrolments, Records, all Student Services, Legal Services and Council Secretariat.

Academic Registrar
The Office of the Academic Registrar is mainly responsible for providing the administrative services in support of learning and teaching missions for students and teaching staff within the University.
Areas of responsibility include admissions, enrolments, coordination of undergraduate and postgraduate schedules of units, the conduct of University examinations, student discipline and grading appeal reviews and maintenance of academic records and transcripts.
Other primary responsibilities of the Registrar’s group include provision of distance and continuing education programs, production of printed materials, management of corporate records and archiving, and dissemination of Academic Senate policies and procedures. Secretariat services are provided for the Academic Senate and their committees.
