TAFE Graduates and Associate Degrees
Please note that Macquarie University only recognises complete TAFE qualifications. Qualifications which Macquarie University recognise for admissions purposes include
- AQF Accredited Awards (eg. Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree and Certificate IV)
- TAFE Associate Diplomas
To gain admission into Macquarie University after the completion of TAFE Qualifications, applicants should apply directly to the University Admissions Centre except in the direct application below.

BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Applications for Second Semester 2009 are now closed.
Students from the Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE (Bradfield, Crows Nest, Hornsby, Meadowbank, North Sydney, Northern Beaches and Ryde Colleges) who have completed one of the following courses with a credit average or higher may apply online directly to Macquarie for admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration:
- Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management
- Advanced Diploma of Business
- Advanced Diploma of Marketing
- Advanced Diploma of Management
Successful applicants who have completed the relevant modules in one of the above courses will receive 24 credit points towards their Bachelor of Business Administration.
Students who have completed a previous version of one of the above courses, e.g. the Advanced Diploma of Business (Marketing) or Advanced Diploma of Business Management, may submit an application however their credit for previous studies will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Bachelor of Teaching (Birth to Five Years) (For TAFE Graduates)
Applications for Semester 2 2008 are now closed.
The Bachelor of Teaching (Birth to Five Years) will not be offered for semester 2 2009. This course will be offered in first semester 2010 through UAC.
Applicants who have completed an AQF Diploma of Community Services (Childhood Based Care) with at least 12 months experience as a qualified child care worker can apply for direct admission into Bachelor of Teaching (Birth to School Age).
