Re-Admission Into Macquarie
Your application method to be readmitted back into Macquarie University will vary depending on which category you fall under. Please select carefully as the procedures vary significantly.
First Year of Study Was 2008
- Students who deferred in 2008 in their first year of study - If 2008 was your first year at Macquarie University and you successfully deferred (by receiving official notification from Macquarie University of your deferment) you must reapply again to the Universities Admissions Centre to activate your deferred position.
- Students who have withdrawn from all units in 2008 in first year of study - If 2008 was your first year at Macquarie University and you withdrew from all units without deferring before the Census date, you must reapply again to the Universities Admissions Centre as a fresh applicant where all of your qualifications will be re-assessed.
First Year of Study Was Before 2008
- Re-admission For Students Who Discontinued in 2008 - For students who had recorded a result in 2008 and would like to return to Macquarie University.
- Previous Macquarie University Students - For students who have a recorded result in an incomplete qualification and have not undertaken any tertiary studies during their absence and are returning to the same incomplete qualification.
- Previous Macquarie University Students who have undertaken tertiary studies elsewhere in absence - Students who have undertaken tertiary studies elsewhere during their absence must re-apply again to the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) as a fresh applicant where all of your qualifications will be re-assessed.
