CHANGE OF UNIT ENROLMENT 2008
Change of Unit Enrolment is for students who are currently enrolled but wish to
change their study program by enrolling or withdrawing from any units or
change any class times.

New and Current Student - change of unit enrolment can be performed on eStudent.
eStudent support is available:
Enrolling (Adding) In A Unit
Current Macquarie students can add units to their unit enrolment via eStudent subject to the following constraints:

External Units - up to the end of week one classes
-
Internal Units - up to the end of week two classes
-
Program Exceeds 14 Credit Points - Students seeking to
enrol in more than 14 credit points in one semester must obtain academic
approval on a Permission To Undertake More Than 14cp Form and lodge it at the Student Enquiry Service (Level 1 C8A Lincoln Building).
Withdrawing (Deleting) From A Unit
Current Macquarie students can withdraw from first half year, second half year or full year units via eStudent subject to the following constraints:
- Students in Law must obtain academic approval from the Dean of the Division of Law if their enrolment status will change from full time to part time
- eStudent may be unavailable at times (such as when the examination results are being loaded into the student system) for Change of Unit Enrolment
Withdrawing From First Semester Unit(s)
The effect of your withdrawal from a first semester unit will depend
on when you formally withdraw from the unit. If you withdraw from a first
semester unit:

On or before 31 March 2008 - Students will be regarded as 'early
withdrawn'. (No mark will be recorded against the unit in Official
Transcripts)

After 31 March 2008 but No Later Than 28th April 2008- Students
will be regarded as 'Withdrawn' (W). Students will remain financially
liable unless they apply and are found to have withdrawn under special
circumstances. More

After 28th April 2008- Students will be regarded as 'Fail Withdrawn' (FW). Students who apply and are found to have withdrawn because of Unavoidable Disruption may be awarded a 'Withdrawn' (W) Grade. More Information
- Students will remain financially liable unless they apply and are
found to have withdrawn under special circumstances. More

Withdrawing From Full Year Unit(s)
The effect of your withdrawal from a full-year unit will depend on
when you formally withdraw from the unit. If you withdraw from a full-year
unit:

On or before 30 April 2008 - Students will be regarded as 'early
withdrawn'. (No mark will be recorded against the unit in Official
Transcripts)

After 30 April 2008 but No Later Than 28 May 2008 - Students
will be regarded as 'Withdrawn' (W). Students will remain financially
liable unless they apply and are found to have withdrawn under special
circumstances. More

All Students, Continuing and New Students, can effect a Change of Unit Enrolment via eStudent.
