DISCONTINUING STUDIES IN 2009
Current Students who have been enrolled at Macquarie University but are thinking of stopping (discontinuing) their studies for a semester, a year or several years will need to withdraw from all units as soon as possible via Change of Unit Enrolment.
Other than withdrawing from all your unit(s) prior to the relevant Census dates you are not required to notify Macquarie University in any other way. Please note the procedures to resume your studies.
If you do not have any recorded results at Macquarie University and you withdraw from all your units before the relevant Census date, you will be regarded as not having been 'effectively enrolled' and will need to reapply as a fresh applicant for admission. You may choose to defer your position if you are eligible. (Recorded results include 'W' Withdrawn Grades)
