This program is available for students who have already graduated with an undergraduate degree from either Australia or Overseas.
Applications are competitive and quotas apply.

Applications for the Semester 1 2009 intake will open in September 2008.
A personal statement is required for this course. Information about this statement will be mailed to you shortly after your application has been received. Failure to submit this statement will mean that your application will not be considered.
This statement should be handwritten (no more than 2 pages) and cover the following topics: state your proposed teaching subject area and how you will combine the demands of university study with your other commitments, describe your background and reasons why you have chosen teaching as a career (include some reflection on your own school experience).
During November members of the academic staff may interview applicants who are being considered for admission to a graduate program. The interview will address the criteria established by the NSW Department of Education and Training.

Course Information
- Minimum time to finish is 18 months of full time study.
- This program is an extension of the Graduate Diploma of Education and requires that students complete additional units in Education. It also provides the opportunity for further specialisation.
- Candidates may enrol in the Graduate Diploma of Education and at a later date apply to transfer to this program.
- Candidates may enrol in this program and apply to exit with the Graduate Diploma in Education once they meet the requirements.
