Macquarie University makes a number of offers to prospective students through various avenues. All students should accept their offers by following the procedures below.

Distance Students - How To Accept Your Offer
Accepting Your Offer
You should accept your offer online. To do so, go to the Enrolment@mq website: http://www.student.mq.edu.au/enrol click on Undergraduate Distance and then follow the steps to locate your Macquarie Student ID, logon to the Macquarie Student System (eStudent) and accept your offer and complete online pre-enrolment.
Distance Students - Enrolment
After we receive your acceptance of offer, you will be sent enrolment information on how to plan your program, how to complete your enrolment etc). Please return the completed enrolment forms and papers by the date indicated on your enrolment form.
After processing of your enrolment form, you will be sent confirmation of it. In due course, materials for external study will be dispatched by the Centre for Open Education.

Enrolment - Internal Students
Enrolment for new undergraduate internal students will be in January/February.
Deferment of Enrolment

New students receiving an offer through the University Admissions Cente (UAC) for Second Sememster cannot defer their study.
Credit For Previous Studies
Students who have studied at another tertiary institution may be eligible for credit for previous studies.
To have your credit assessed before enrolment you must complete the Credit For Previous Studies Application Form and submit it with an official or certified transcripts

Fees & Charges
From 1 January 2009, the Australian Government is phasing out places in undergraduate Domestic Fee-paying (DFEE) courses. New undergraduates commencing in 2009 in Bachelor degree studies will be able to enrol only as a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) student. Students with deferred places in DFEE courses from 2008, however, will still commence their studies in 2009 on a fee-paying basis. Deferring students wanting to apply for other courses in 2009 must apply (for CSP places) through UAC.
