The Sydney Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT) operates on Macquarie University campus offering Foundation Studies (Pre-University) and University level Diplomas.
Since 1996, SIBT and Macquarie University have worked together to provide the leading pathway program in Australia. Located on Macquarie University campus, SIBT students have access to all the university services and facilities, including one of the best undergraduate libraries in Australia, sporting facilities and clubs, student associations and accommodation service.
The completion of a Diploma or Advanced Diploma with Grade Point Average (GPA) of 1.5 guarantees entry into Macquarie University. Entry into some selected degrees may require higher GPAs.
Upon successful completion of a SIBT Diploma, students enter the appropriate Bachelor Degree as a second year student. All successfully completed units at SIBT will count for credit in a Bachelor Program at Macquarie University.
