Applications for first half year entry in 2009 are now open. On-time applications close Tuesday 30 September 2008.
Universities Admissions Centre is the central office that receives and processes applictions for admission to most undergraduate degrees at Macquarie University. UAC assesses applications base don academic merit of applicants.
Application Procedures
Step One - Select Your Area of Study
Decide what it is you think you would like to study. Think about your desired career, your interests, and academic strengths and the degree that would help you reach your career goals. Don't forget to talk to friends and family.
Please refer to Selecting Your Program in the University Handbook. This will provide you with an idea of the areas in which Macquarie University offers degrees in. These pages also illustrates each Subject Area's assumed knowledge, subject prerequisites and recommended studies.
Step Two - Select Your Degree
After you have selected an area of study you will need to select the degree you would like to complete. Most degrees are offered for commencement at the begining of an calender year. However some degrees at Macquarie University also have mid-year applications.

Step Three - Lodge Your Applications
Lodge an application as follows:
All local applicants must apply through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) unless they are considering our Pathways Programs which have alternate application procedures.
The UAC Guide outlines admission/application requirements and procedures for all Macquarie undergraduate programs and includes important information regarding deferment, special consideration for applicants who have experienced long term educational disadvantage and principal dates for the University Year.
On-time applications for Semester 1 2098 will close on 30 September 2009.
